Delightful self-catering holiday apartment nestled in Marseillan's local port. Sleeping 2 in a double room and a further 2 in a twin room. Wifi included and air-conditioning for the summer (much needed in the high summer).
The sun comes round facing on to Marseillan Accommodation terrace so you can enjoy the sun on the front of terrace from mid morning and eat breakfast with the view across the water. Later in the day enjoy lunch on the sunny south-facing terrace with some wine and cheese watching the boats on the water. In the evening the front of the terrace is still in the sun for an apero but you can get shade at the back of the terrace all day.
Of course if you want to have lunch out you can wander a couple of minutes stroll to one of the many local portside restaurants, bars or cafes - Camille, Bistrot Soleil, Taverne du Port and more. Stroll a little further on the flat and you will reach the old village with bakers, grocers, chemists, butchers and even a small supermarket. Of course there are many more restaurants and bars in the old village one of my favourites being the Delicatessan.
Cosy and perfect for holiday rentals of 1,2, 3 or 4 people. It’s delightful to be on the terrace in the morning and see the sailing boats setting off across the etang de thau and as the day progresses watch local people arrive with their boats on trailers, park up and launch their boat in the water for a day sailing. Sit outside to dine or have breakfast. There is free roadside parking for your car and more parking in the marina car park round the corner.
The property has an open plan living area, including a sitting area with TV (some in English), sofa and chairs for 4, a large dining table with 4 chairs and a kitchen with fridge and freezer, washing machine, electric cooker with hob, microwave, toaster, coffeepot and all the utensils, glasses and crockery you need for eating and drinking at home inside or on the terrace.. Wifi is available free of charge.
There is a good size double bedroom and twin room.
The location is ideal as not only are you near the waterside but a 2 minutes stroll also takes you to the little park with bbqs for all to use and picnic benches and tables. Also here you will find in the summer a watersports area where you can kayak, paddle board, wind surf etc.
Just past the park are a selection of super simple shacks serving barbecued moules and oysters with a glass of local wine
If looking for a one month plus rental for a few months in winter depending on availability a discount will be given to the normal prices - please email me and ask but for instance a winter month that would cost £1300 on a monthly basis is discounted to around £900 including electricity. Changeovers normally on Friday or Saturday but we will try and accommodate different days if possible which is normally ok out of high season
